Dancefoundation has been involved in Armin van Buuren’s radio show A State of Trance since episode 400, back in 2009. We’ve developed the website, travelled the world to record video reports, designed artwork, trailers and related music videos. With pride we gave birth to the infamous space cadets at our offices.

The celebrations for reaching the next 50 episode milestone have tremendously grown over the years, resulting in an annual world tour with selected events being broadcasted live.

A State of Trance 600

Dancefoundation took care of the production of the Google+ Hangouts during the live broadcasts from Madrid, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Beirut, Kuala Lumpur, Miami, New York and Den Bosch. We also developed a custom registration system, used to manage all subscriptions. Users had to register using their Google+ account to be able to join one of the numerous hangouts. The system enabled us to rate subscribers and create lists of people to invite during the live broadcasts. On location, artists were involved in the Google+ Hangouts with fans. Armin interacted with groups of listeners from all over the world during the radio shows. 

A State of Trance 550

To celebrating the 550th episode of  the A State of Trance radio show, 6 big club events were held in London, Moscow, Kiev, Los Angeles, Miami and Den Bosch. During these events non-visitors could still enjoy all the action from the dance floor. With an online radio show hosted by Armin himself, video reports, photo’s and social content delivered to the people at home via the ASOT LIVE event website.

A State of Trance 500

The 500th episode of Armin van Buurens radioshow ‘A State of Trance’ obviously needed a celebration, and a small one would do no justice to the success. The campaign was developed and designed by Dancefoundation, and officially started with the launch of the brand new A State of Trance website. The celebrations also marked the bird of the infamous space cadets. Each cadet represented one of the five continents in the A State of Trance 500 World Tour, that featured events in Johannesburg, Miami, Buenos Aires, Den Bosch and Sydney.

A State of Trance 450

The 2010 celebration consisted of 5 events in 4 different countries and was broadcasted live from Toronto, New York, Bratislava and Wroclaw. Dancefoundation designed the artwork and was responsible for the A State of Trance website and all video footage shot during these events.

A State of Trance 400

We've first teamed up with Armin van Buuren for a big 72-hour radio show, to celebrate the 400th episode milestone. The broadcast was live, worldwide and linked three events that took place in Wuppertal (DE), Birmingham (UK) and Rotterdam (NL). These events were also video broadcasted by Dancefoundation and Cross Media Ventures. Our work also included the new website, artwork and video reports.
